One of the membership requirements for United Way organizations is to publish an “Annual Report” to highlight the accomplishments of a United Way over a span of time and provide financial and campaign information. This report gives a snapshot of the organization based on its involvement in and impact within a community or, in our case, Calhoun County. The Annual Report that you are receiving today is based on the 2011-12 United Way Campaign and the corresponding fiscal year. Annual Reports are presented a year or so following the campaign to allow all pledges to be received. This report also provides the results of our annual fiscal year audit (April 1 – March 31). This is the first Annual Report for the United Way of Calhoun County and covers the 2011-12 Campaign chaired by Steve Marwitz of Formosa and Bob Turner of the City of Port Lavaca.
We hope that you enjoy seeing how United Way and our 15 partner agencies have worked diligently to improve lives in Calhoun County. The Annual Report for Bob Turner’s 2012-13 campaign will be available in June or July of next year.
Thank you again for your commitment to helping your friends and neighbors here in Calhoun County!
